William T. (Bill) Holzhauer

William T. (Bill) Holzhauer died on February 22, 2025. He is survived by Grace, his wife of 68 years. Bill worked for Exxon Research and Engineering Co. from 1956 until early retirement in 1986, progressing through the ranks to becoming Assistant General Manager of the Projects Management Department. During his years of service Bill had assignments in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Venezuela, and Rome, Italy. Upon retirement Bill and Grace moved to Seneca, South Carolina, where he had a second career with Habitat for Humanity, holding several management roles especially with the Oconee County ReStore until he passed away. He was also a charter member of the Golden Corner Lakes Sail & Power Squadron, achieving full certification for completing its training courses.
