Ronald A. (Ron) Partnoy
Ronald A. (Ron) Partnoy died on January 18, 2025, in Mystic, Connecticut. Following Yale, Ron served in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer aboard various ships and joined the Naval Reserve when he left active duty, rising to become a Captain. While serving in the Naval Reserves, Ron held leadership positions with the Navy League, Naval Reserve Association, and the Military Historical Society, among others. Professionally, Ron became a lawyer after graduating from both Harvard Law School with an LLB and Boston University Law School with an LLM. He served in several roles with major corporations including Assistant Counsel at Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., General Counsel and Secretary of Remington Arms Co., and Senior Counsel of DuPont Co. in Wilmington, Delaware. He particularly enjoyed music and played the violin in chamber groups and local symphony orchestras. He is survived by his wife Diane.
