James G. Englis

James G. Englis died peacefully on December 26, 2024, in East Haven, Connecticut. After graduating from Yale, James obtained a law degree from Columbia University and practiced law for over 50 years in Connecticut.  As President of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Bridgeport, he led construction of the current church building.  In retirement, he played the trumpet, sang with the Yale Alumni Chorus, and provided tours of the Peabody Museum as a volunteer, all this while maintaining a deep commitment to his family.  He is survived by Angela, his wife of 58 years
