George Litton
George Litton Remembered
George Litton died on March 25, 2022. George was born in Paris, France, on September 28, 1934, and came to New York City at age five. He attended Ethical Fieldstone School prior to coming to Yale. While at Yale he co-founded the Yale Russian Chorus, North America’s oldest Slavic choir. He majored in civil engineering and graduated as scholar of the second rank. From there he went on to receive a Masters Degree at Columbia University. He is survived by his fiancée Alessandra Marino, his devoted companion for the last 15 years, and his son, Andrew, the Music Director of the New York City Ballet.
