Charles J. (Chuck) Woodin
Charles J. (Chuck) Woodin died September 26, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas, his lifelong home. Following his years at Yale, Chuck attended the University of Kansas Law School, graduating as a member of the Order of the Coif and Editor-in-Chief of the Kansas Law Review. He practiced law with a Wichita law firm for over 60 years where he became managing partner and later of counsel until his death. He was recognized as a “Lawyer of the Year” or “Best Lawyer” by both state and national legal organizations. Chuck was a classically trained pianist who entertained friends and family. He could fix anything, and he developed a passion for sailing, going from an Oklahoma yacht club to serving as captain of ocean-going vessels in the British Virgin Islands. He is survived by his wife Sandra.
